Certified Wedding Planner

When considering career choices in high school, I had thought of wedding planning, but ultimately put it in the back of my mind as an unachievable goal. I went on to get my engineering degrees, but I always helped friends with weddings, whether it was providing ideas, creating decor, decorating, or full-planning. Because I was always willing to get up and move for a new opportunity, I had moved from Maryland to North Carolina to Florida and then back to North Carolina. It was at this time, trying to figure out my life, that I decided to explore my more creative, hidden passions. So, I did my first poetry reading at the Craven Arts Council and Gallery in New Bern, NC and eventually became President of the Board of Directors. In parallel, I sought out local wedding planners. This is when I met Pamela DuVal, certified Master Bridal Consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants. Pam took me on as an intern and eventually as an employee. I was properly educated in the wedding planning. Now back in Florida, I am a current member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and have completed the requirements to be a Certified Wedding Planner.

*At this time, due to full-time work commitments and other priorities, I do not do full-time wedding planning. However, I’m always available for questions and sharing ideas!

“I love you. I know.”
